The Immortalizer (1989)

A z-grade cheapo from the late 80s in which a highly skilled surgeon transplants the brains of his rich, elderly clients into the healthy young bodies of kidnapped "high-schoolers" (who all look like they're in their late-20s at least). This vaguely interesting (although scientifically ludicrous) premise is wasted on a dreary story about one such 'teen' who escapes and (stupidly) goes back into the 'clinic' to rescue his kidnapped buddies. The other trick is that every one 'teen' in ten "reacts badly" to the drugs they use for these operations and turns into some kind of flesh-eating hardbody with superhuman physical strength. This bit is never really explored beyond some gratuitous scenes of bodybuilders in bad make-up chewing on throats, but even these fleeting moments of cut-rate splatter are unconvincing and pedestrian.
